The .pre-commit-config.yaml in patterns/pre-commit-integration.md references external hook repositories (https://github.com/astral-sh/ruff-pre-commit and https://github.com/RobertCraigie/pyright-python) which pre-commit will fetch and execute at install/runtime, so these are runtime external dependencies that execute remote code.
