When to Use This Skill

Activate when the user:

  • Asks to "turn this into a Twitter thread"
  • Wants to adapt content for different platforms
  • Needs to create multiple social posts from one source
  • Says "repurpose this blog post"
  • Wants platform-specific content variations
  • Mentions LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok
  • Needs hashtag suggestions

Instructions

  1. Analyze Source Content

    • Identify main message and key points
    • Extract 3-5 core takeaways
    • Note tone and style
    • Identify target audience
    • Find quotable moments
    • Extract statistics or data points
  2. Optimize for Twitter/X

    • Break into thread (1 hook tweet + 5-10 follow-ups)
    • Keep tweets under 280 characters
    • Use thread numbers (1/10, 2/10, etc.)
    • Create strong hook for first tweet
    • Add strategic line breaks for readability
    • Include relevant hashtags (2-3 max)
    • End with call-to-action
    • Consider adding engagement prompts
  3. Optimize for LinkedIn

    • Professional tone
    • 1300-1700 characters (ideal)
    • Start with hook question or bold statement
    • Use line breaks and emojis strategically
    • Include industry-relevant hashtags (3-5)
    • Add storytelling elements
    • End with discussion prompt
    • Format for mobile viewing
  4. Optimize for Instagram

    • Concise caption (125-150 words ideal)
    • First line must hook (before "...more")
    • Use line breaks and emojis
    • Include 10-20 relevant hashtags
    • Add call-to-action
    • Suggest visual concepts (for carousel/image)
    • Consider Instagram Stories format
  5. Optimize for Facebook

    • Conversational tone
