LinkedIn About Writer
Structure
Every About section must follow this order:
- Positioning — State role, domain, and experience level. This is the only paragraph visible before "see more", so it must stand alone. Avoid generic openers like "I am passionate about..." without immediate proof.
- Value proposition — What the person brings to teams or clients. Translate skills into outcomes; include one concrete result if available.
- Career goals — Short, mid, and long-term direction in three sentences or fewer. Must align with the target role.
- Call to action — Tell the reader explicitly how to reach out or connect.
Key Constraints
- The first three lines must make the person's identity clear without requiring "see more"
- Default length: 120 to 220 words unless the user specifies otherwise
- Do not inflate seniority or fabricate results
