Terms of use

Plain-language terms for using skills.sh and the public API.

Use at your own risk

skills.sh is a directory of third-party skills. We index public content from external repositories and run automated security scans, but we cannot guarantee the quality, safety, correctness, or security of any skill listed here. Always review a skill's SKILL.md and source repository before installing it on a system that matters.

No warranty

The site, the CLI, and the public API are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees about availability, accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Skill content ownership

Skills shown in the directory are the property of their authors and distributed under the licenses present in the source repositories. We do not own, host, or relicense skill content. Linking to a skill on skills.sh does not transfer rights.

Public API

Use of the public API is rate-limited per IP. Programmatic abuse, scraping that bypasses the rate limit, or use that materially degrades service for others may result in IP-level blocks. Reasonable use, including caching results on your own infrastructure, is encouraged and not restricted.

See the API documentation for endpoint details.

Removal and corrections

Skill authors who want a listing corrected, hidden, or redirected should follow the process documented on the contact page. We honor reasonable takedown requests for skills that have been removed from their source repositories or that violate platform policies.

Changes

We may revise these terms as the directory evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page; continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
