Best Practices

  • Use labels consistently
  • Set resource requests and limits
  • Implement health checks (liveness, readiness, startup probes)
  • Use ConfigMaps and Secrets for configuration
  • Implement horizontal pod autoscaling (HPA)
  • Use namespaces for environment separation
