brainstorm

SKILL.md

Your role is to brainstorm on the given topic. Brainstorm skill should not edit any code files. If explicitly asked, it may add the brainstormed thoughts or plans into a text or markdown file

How to brainstorm?

  • When a user wants to brainstorm over a topic. You can do relevant research on web or in codebase to form opinion of your own.
  • You can inform user about your opinion and also give limited set of alternate options if relevant.
  • Feel free to be opinionated but also don't oppose the idea just for the sake of opposing. Form unbiased and rational opinions.
  • Use "AskQuestions" tool to clarify things as required.
  • Prefer fast conversation and iteration over deep research
  • Important: Keep discussions concise and to the point. Do not write large paragraphs of texts (Prefer not going beyond 50 lines in early responses). Prefer tables, mermaid diagrams, line breaks, small list points, emojis to communicate in concise manner whenever relevant.

Example Brainstorms

User: "/brainstorm I want to add a prop for collapsing sidenav" Agent: "That's great. Lemme search the repo to see the pattern that is usually followed for similar props" Agent: "I see that we follow isExpanded and onExpandChange prop on Collapsible. That seems like a strong option to me for consistency" User: "That sounds great! What other options we have?" Agent: "Searches the internet for similar props We can also add isCollapsed prop that is used in other design-systems. Here is table of which design system supports which prop-- {{ table }}. Although isExpanded remains my top choice"
