Why Pexels Video Downloader
Pexels offers a vast library of royalty-free videos that creators, marketers, and educators rely on every day. While the site does provide download buttons, the experience can be cumbersome when you need to grab multiple clips at different resolutions, navigate pop-ups, or locate the original-quality source file buried behind several clicks. Batch downloading is not natively supported, and there is no built-in way to queue several videos for export during a browsing session.
Pexels Video Downloader is being designed to integrate directly into the browser so it can detect the video on any Pexels page, surface every available resolution, and let you save the original MP4 with a single action. The goal is to remove the friction between discovering a clip and having it ready to use on your local drive.
Planned Features
- One-click MP4 download from any Pexels video page
- Resolution picker showing every available quality tier for each video
- Original-quality capture that preserves the source file without transcoding
- Bulk download queue for saving multiple videos during a single browsing session
- Filename formatting with video title, creator name, and resolution tag
- Automatic detection of video assets when a Pexels page loads
- Lightweight popup interface that stays out of the way until needed
- Cross-browser compatibility targeting Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Firefox

- Does not follow unrelated links or perform actions outside the active workflow
