Why Soundgasm Downloader

Soundgasm hosts audio through an embedded player that streams files from its servers. While the platform makes it easy to listen in the browser, there is no built-in download button or export feature on most pages. Users who want to keep a local copy of a recording for offline listening, archiving, or personal use are left inspecting page source or hunting for direct URLs manually.

Soundgasm Downloader is being designed to eliminate that friction. The extension will sit inside the browser toolbar, detect the audio source on any Soundgasm track page, and let you save the file to your machine in a single step. No copying links, no pasting into converter sites, and no guessing which file format the server returned.

How It Will Work

1. Install the extension once it is released.
2. Navigate to any Soundgasm user profile or individual track page.
3. The extension icon will indicate that a downloadable audio source has been detected.
4. Click the extension icon to open the popup interface.
5. Review the detected track title and uploader information.
6. Choose your preferred output format if multiple options are available.
7. Click download and the audio file will be saved to your local machine.
8. For profile pages with multiple tracks, select individual recordings or download all at once.

Expected Formats

• Input: Soundgasm hosted audio streams (typically MP3 or M4A served from the platform CDN)
• Output: MP3 or M4A, preserving the original quality of the hosted file

Exported files will be saved in standard formats compatible with most media players, phones, and audio editing tools.

• Limits support to the named platform, approved embedded contexts, and user-authorized sessions when required

FAQ

When will Soundgasm Downloader be released? A release date has not been set. Sign up at the waitlist link above to be notified as soon as it is available.

Does it work on all Soundgasm pages? The extension is being built to detect audio on individual track pages and user profile pages. Support for other page layouts will depend on how the platform structures its audio embeds.

What audio quality will it support? The extension will preserve the quality of the original file hosted on Soundgasm. It does not re-encode or compress the audio unless a format conversion is necessary.

Will it save the track title and uploader name? The plan is to generate filenames from the track title and uploader name displayed on the page, and to embed basic metadata in the output file where the format supports it.

Is it free? Pricing details will be announced closer to launch. SERP extensions typically include a free trial period.

Can I download multiple tracks from a profile page? Batch downloading from profile pages is a planned feature. The exact workflow will depend on how many tracks the page loads and browser resource constraints.

This repository is distributed under the proprietary SERP Apps license in the LICENSE file. Review that file before copying, modifying, or redistributing any part of this project.
