Video analysis
Answer questions about a video by looking at the frames that hold the answer. One script fetches the video into a workspace folder and pulls stills from it; you look at each still by Reading the image file. Speech comes from the video-transcript skill, written into the same workspace.
Leading words:
- Survey: a contact sheet over a span, many moments in one image, to see the whole coarsely.
- Locate: narrow to the seconds where the answer lives.
- Inspect: full-resolution frames, bursts, and crops of those seconds.
- Evidence: a frame you looked at, or a transcript line, with its timestamp.
- Spacing: the time between the frames you looked at. Anything shorter than the spacing can fall between them.
The script is python3 <skill-dir>/scripts/video_analysis.py <command>. Every command after fetch takes the workspace folder; -h on any command lists its flags. Timestamps are seconds (75.5) or clock time (1:15, 1:02:03).
