Obsidian Markdown Syntax Skill
Purpose
Enforce proper Obsidian-flavored Markdown syntax when creating or editing .md files to ensure compatibility with Obsidian's features including YAML frontmatter, wikilinks, callouts, dataview queries, mermaid diagrams, tables, citations, canvas integration, bases, and templater syntax.
Activation
Auto-activate when creating ANY .md file unless explicitly stated otherwise by the user.
Core Syntax Rules
1. YAML Frontmatter (REQUIRED)
Every .md file MUST start with valid YAML frontmatter:
