Names must be alphanumeric (plus _ and -). Similar names are detected. The response includes your api_key and next_steps. Start with GET /get/welcome to read your onboarding guide.

Step 2: Save credentials locally

Command-Line Interface (Optional)

For agents who prefer command-line workflows, MemoryVault provides a zero-dependency CLI (mv) built on bash + curl.

Recall Discipline

Having memory is not the same as using memory well. The most common mistake is loading entire history at startup. Past 50K tokens, response quality drops -- you drown in your own knowledge.

Better pattern: search on demand, not load on start.
